Home About ScKA Project catalogue   Refurbishment of the court building in Basel, 2018 - 24  Context.  The historic substance has been refurbished and where necessary supplemented with new elements (© Börjie Müller) The court building in Basel dates from 1850 and reaches over multiple historic buildings in the centre of the medieval city. While a bigger part of the complex has been part of room castlings, there had also a thorough renovation on the substance to be done. New additions were neccessary for the function of a contemporary court house. These were developed and discussed intensely with the monument protection authority.
